The fellowship will help the new PA develop the skills needed to be a competent, highly functional member of the emergency healthcare team.

Neurology

Neurology fellows rotate through a variety of inpatient and outpatient practice locations and subspecialties. The program will provide mentorship, didactic materials, dedicated didactic time, as well as the opportunity to work alongside experienced Neurologists, NPs and PAs. The goal of the fellowship is to help foster clinical confidence for a new graduate PA to care for a wide variety of patients with neurologic illnesses.

Primary Care

The primary care fellows will have the opportunity to work in multiple primary care and specialty practices across Centra Health to better be able to care for complex patients in a primary care setting. Working with physicians, NPs, PAs, and residents, the primary care fellow will develop their procedural skills, diagnostic and assessment skills, to become a competent provider in primary care.

Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular fellows experience didactic instruction and hands on clinical training. Time is spent in the inpatient and outpatient setting under the direction of HVI fellowship faculty which includes physicians, NPs, and PAs; many of whom are graduates of the HVI General Cardiology fellowship.
